Stress Detection through Body Reactions
Stress is not only can be seen from the change in human’s attitude, but also in physical. When your mind feels stressed, without realizing there is a change in the physical body. Here are five physical signs when you experience stress.
1. Sneezing
Stress can trigger allergic reactions because the immune system weakens. So, when you are stressed, do not be surprised if the immune system weakened and susceptible to disease.
2. Blemish
When you feel stressed, your body will pump out extra amounts of adrenaline. This encourages the production of sebum, which are the skin’s natural oils that cause acne.
3. Jaw trembling
High pressure also makes the jaw trembling. This usually occurs during sleep at night, and when morning sore jaw will be accompanied by a burning sensation.
4. Fat
Conditions of stress hormone levels or high cortisol also increases the desire for sweet and fatty foods. This makes you escape stress by eating, resulting in increased body weight.
5. Late menstrual period
Under the nervous tension, the brain sends a signal that can alter or disrupt the process of ovulation. You can change the schedule menstruation, late, or no menstruation at all.
